From Wednesday, September 17, travelers can book flights for Transavia’s summer 2026 season. The airline will continue offering familiar destinations across Europe and North Africa while introducing new Mediterranean routes. For the first time, some locations that were previously accessible only via charter services can now be booked directly through the airline’s website. Travelers now have additional choices and greater flexibility when arranging their summer journeys.

The 2026 summer schedule introduces new flights connecting Dutch airports with several Italian cities. New routes include:

  • Amsterdam to Alghero
  • Amsterdam to Palermo
  • Eindhoven to Olbia
  • Rotterdam to Catania

In addition, six destinations previously operated exclusively for tour operators are now available as regular scheduled flights:

  • Amsterdam to Skiathos
  • Amsterdam to Karpathos
  • Amsterdam to Lesbos
  • Amsterdam to Hurghada
  • Amsterdam to Marsa Alam
  • Amsterdam to Antalya

As a result of this expansion, travelers have access to a greater number of Mediterranean locations.

For passengers, the new options bring improved convenience and flexibility. Travelers flying to Alghero can visit Neptune’s Grotto, Spiaggia di Maria Pia beach, Capo Caccia cliffs, and the Nuraghe Palmavera site. Travelers going to Skiathos can visit Koukounaries Beach, Lalaria Beach, the Monastery of Panagia, and the Pigadia promenade. Travelers heading to Hurghada can explore Giftun Island, Mahmya Beach, Marina Boulevard, and Makadi Bay, which feature a variety of coastal and natural landscapes.

The introduction of Italian and Greek routes, particularly with Palermo and Karpathos, expands opportunities for exploration. Travelers visiting Palermo can see Mondello Beach, Monte Pellegrino, Capo Gallo Nature Reserve, and La Cala harbor. Visitors to Karpathos can enjoy Apella Beach, the village of Olympos, Kyra Panagia area, and Amoopi Beach. Early booking ensures access to preferred flights and fares, giving passengers greater certainty in planning their summer trips. The 2026 season, running from April 1 to October 25, provides a long period to explore these destinations.

These updates make summer travel more accessible and manageable for a wide range of passengers. The combination of new routes, direct booking availability, and multiple departure points enhances the convenience of planning trips. For travelers, this news signifies greater flexibility, improved accessibility, and the chance to reach both well-known and unique Mediterranean destinations efficiently. Travelers now have more opportunities to plan trips independently while still being able to visit familiar destinations.
