A Ryanair Buzz airplane en route to Krakow from Stockholm Arlanda Airport crashed due to an unspecified malfunction. After the cabin was filled with smoke of unknown origin, passengers were evacuated.

The crew helped people leave the plane using an inflatable slide, as there was no longer a ramp on the runway. Simple Flying interviewed the company for comment on the incident.

Ryanair Buzz confirmed that the smoke occurred in the cabin of a Boeing 737 MAX. The pilot reported a potentially dangerous situation to the dispatchers, so a car with emergency personnel was immediately sent to the plane.

"As a precautionary measure, passengers were evacuated and returned to the terminal. Buzz engineers checked the aircraft and a spare was sent to Arlanda to operate this flight to Krakow, which departed at 14:58 local time. We sincerely apologize to the affected passengers for yesterday's delay," the company said in a statement.

Video from inside and outside the plane was published on the Breaking Aviation News & Videos page on social network X, formerly known as Twitter.

The footage shows passengers going down an evacuation slide. None of them were injured. The travelers also did not appear to be panicking.
