Travel experts suggest that this trend emerged following the pandemic restrictions. The explanation is simple: many people discovered incredible places during the quarantine and developed a desire to visit them.

Additionally, tourists are also attracted by whether a particular establishment has been frequented by members of the crew of a specific TV series or movie. Grant McGeady, director of entertainment sales at Hilton Hotels, states, "We can educate hotels on what to expect and how to cater to this demographic."
