Four Seasons has revealed plans for a second yacht, named Four Seasons II, with a debut planned for 2028. The announcement follows the launch of Four Seasons I in March and pushes the hospitality group further into the high-end cruise market. The new vessel is aimed at guests looking for larger suites, longer stays and more personalised service at sea.

Four Seasons II will have 79 suites, including a new group of Yacht Residential Suites designed with more space than a standard cruise cabin. The company says the yacht will offer a residential feel, with open living areas, private terraces and bespoke services. A one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio is planned for the new collection of top suites.

What Four Seasons II Will Offer on Board

  • 79 suites on board
  • two- to four-bedroom residential suites
  • kitchens and dining areas
  • private terraces
  • splash pools and outdoor showers in selected suites
  • concierge support for arranged experiences

The suites will be placed across the upper decks, with bookings for the inaugural season now open.

Four Seasons has not yet named the first routes for the 2028 season, so the destination list is still limited. Once itineraries are confirmed, the yacht should appeal to travellers who want coastal stops, island visits and smaller-port arrivals with more privacy than a large ship. The format also suits families or groups who prefer one shared base rather than separate hotel rooms.

The main shift is space. Four Seasons II is being built less like a traditional cruise ship and more like a floating private residence with hotel service attached. That will not make it a budget option, obviously. But for travellers comparing villas, private charters and small luxury ships, it adds another way to take a sea-based trip without giving up room, privacy or service.
