easyJet has opened bookings for its summer 2026 schedule, covering flights between 15 June and 13 September. The update affects millions of travellers planning trips during the busiest months of the year. With departures available from airports across the UK, the move offers passengers a longer timeframe to organise journeys in advance and may help avoid rising fares or limited seat availability closer to departure.

In addition to major hubs, the schedule includes 87,000 flights to and from the UK, departing from 22 airports. Among them:

  • Belfast International – offering routes to southern European destinations
  • Liverpool John Lennon – with links to Spain, Portugal, and central Europe
  • London Southend – serving less congested alternatives to main London airports
  • Bristol – providing connections to coastal regions in the Mediterranean
  • Glasgow – covering both resort and city destinations across Europe

The list also includes new routes to Cape Verde and Georgia, which extend the range of summer options available to UK travellers.

Our extensive short-haul network, spanning hundreds of routes from 22 UK airports, provides an unparalleled selection for those planning their holidays for the upcoming year. We look forward to welcoming them on board.
Sophie Dekkers, easyJet's Chief Commercial Officer

Travellers touching down in Cape Verde this summer will land within reach of two standout islands: Sal and Boa Vista. Sal features the Pedra de Lume salt crater inside an extinct volcano and the nearby town of Santa Maria, known for its fishing pier and Atlantic-facing beach. Boa Vista offers the Deserto de Viana, a small inland desert shaped by wind, and the Cabo Santa Maria shipwreck, stranded near the coast since 1968.

A trip to Georgia puts both Kutaisi and Tbilisi within reach, two cities that reflect distinct sides of the country. Kutaisi lies near the Gelati Monastery, a 12th-century religious site, and Prometheus Cave, known for its limestone formations and underground rivers. Tbilisi mixes maze-like lanes and quiet courtyards with the Abanotubani area, where warm sulphur water has flowed beneath rounded bath roofs for hundreds of years.

This early schedule release reflects a broader industry trend toward longer booking windows. With demand for summer travel remaining high, especially around school holidays, airlines are making flights available earlier to accommodate forward planning. For passengers, this shift means more time to secure dates, compare fares, and organise accommodation. It also signals a move toward greater predictability in seasonal travel scheduling across major carriers.
