On April 24, Montreal-based Bombardier Aerospace introduced a dynamic new logo and global branding initiative, marking a significant step in its strategic focus on the business jet market. The redesigned logo, featuring the silhouette of an aircraft breaking the sound barrier, symbolizes both the heritage and forward-looking vision of the company.

The new branding was unveiled as Bombardier pivots towards exclusively developing and manufacturing business jets, emphasizing its commitment to innovation and customer service. The company, which boasts a global fleet of over 5,000 aircraft and ten service facilities across six countries, aims to strengthen its position as a leader in the luxury jet market.

Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier, highlighted the significance of the rebranding, stating, "Our iconic company is looking forward with confidence and an innovative spirit, captured elegantly in our new logo and brand evolution." Martel emphasized the familial bond with clients as a key differentiator in the market, reflecting the personalized service that Bombardier offers.

The logo itself is an artistic representation of a sonic boom and features strokes depicting wind over an aircraft wing, honoring the legacy of the Learjet brand and its pioneering winglet technology. This design is intended to resonate with Bombardier’s innovative spirit and its talented workforce's ambition.

As part of its future-oriented strategy, Bombardier is also advancing the development of the Global 8000, described as the "flagship of a new era." Slated to enter service in the first half of 2025, the Global 8000 is expected to set new standards for speed, range, and comfort in the business jet segment.

Additionally, the rebrand extends to Bombardier Defense, enhancing its aircraft with advanced mission capabilities for surveillance and reconnaissance. Notably, the company is developing the EcoJet, a blended-wing-body aircraft designed to cut carbon emissions by up to 50%, underscoring Bombardier’s commitment to sustainability.
