Wizz Air Adds Five New Direct Flights From London Luton to Popular Spanish Cities

Wizz Air has announced five new routes from London Luton Airport to Spain, launching on 29 March 2026. Set to begin before Easter and summer, these flights are designed to meet rising demand for direct travel between the UK and Spain. The added services improve access to both major cities and regional destinations, expanding travel options for the spring and summer seasons.
As part of a wider network growth, the airline will introduce these routes to several important Spanish cities. The schedule is designed to reflect seasonal travel trends and to enhance short-haul connectivity within Europe. The expansion gives travelers more options to plan their trips and responds to the growing interest in regional travel.

In Barcelona, visitors can enjoy attractions such as Bunkers del Carmel, a public viewpoint located on a former military site that offers panoramic views of the city. The Barceloneta Promenade runs along the shoreline, providing scenic paths ideal for walking or cycling. Just outside the city, Collserola Natural Park features peaceful forest trails and scenic spots accessible via public transportation. These spots give visitors a chance to enjoy the outdoors without the crowds of the city center.
In Madrid, Casa de Campo stands out as a large urban green space with wooded areas, lakes, and fields for recreation. The rooftop platform at Palacio de Cibeles offers elevated views over the city center. Madrid Río Park runs along the Manzanares River and features landscaped routes and public leisure zones. Each of these locations is reachable by metro or bus and can be visited independently without advance arrangements.

Wizz Air will also introduce daily flights from London Luton to Milan, Rome, and Vienna starting on 26 October 2025. These new connections extend the airline’s European coverage in advance of the winter and summer travel periods. Flight schedules may be adjusted based on operational planning and traveller demand. Tickets are available through the airline’s website and standard booking platforms.
