Doha's culinary landscape is set to be transformed with the return of the Qatar International Food Festival in 2024, hosted at the EXPO, family zone in Al Bidda Park. Scheduled from February 7th to 17th, this gastronomic gala, coinciding with the ongoing Doha Expo 2023, is more than just a food festival; it's a celebration of the Qatar-Moroccan 2024 Year of Culture.

As Qatar's longest-running food festival, this event, presented by Qatar Tourism, promises an unparalleled feast for the senses. Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of culinary delights, from local Qatari cuisine to international flavors, representing a fusion of traditional and contemporary tastes. Over 100 food and drinks kiosks will be set up, offering everything from spicy street food to haute cuisine.

The festival's highlights include a dazzling array of daily fireworks, live entertainment, and interactive workshops, ensuring an immersive experience for all. World-class chefs will be showcasing their skills in cooking theatres, and VIP hospitality areas will offer a more exclusive experience. The family zone ensures that the event caters to visitors of all ages, making it a perfect outing for families.

This year’s edition is particularly special as it honors the cultural ties between Qatar and Morocco. The event will feature renowned chefs and personalities from the international gastronomy scene, offering a taste of Moroccan culture and cuisine. Qatar Museums' annual Years of Culture initiative, which began in 2012, focuses on fostering international cultural exchange and deepening understanding between nations. The 2024 festival is a testament to this, celebrating the friendship and cultural richness of Qatar and Morocco.

For food enthusiasts and cultural explorers alike, the Qatar International Food Festival 2024 is an event not to be missed (watch the presentation video here). It promises a journey through a world of flavors, set against the backdrop of vibrant cultural exchange and festive celebration. Prepare to indulge in a culinary adventure that delights the palate and enriches the soul, all within the lively atmosphere of Doha's EXPO 2023.
