Nude cruise arrives in Miami: basic rules for a nude vacation
Bare Necessities Tour & Travel has hired Norwegian Cruise Line to organize an annual nude cruise in 2025.
This was announced by its head in an interview with the Miami Herald. In recent years, this firm has chartered similar excursions with Carnival Cruises from Tampa, including one scheduled for next February.
"We recently agreed to a 2025 charter with NCL," said Ken Tiemann, chief operating officer of Austin, Texas-based Bare Necessities. This will be the first charter from Miami and with Norwegian Cruise Lines.
The 11-day excursion, titled 2025 Big Nude Boat on NCL's Norwegian Pearl, will depart Miami on February 3, 2025. Stops include Great Strip Cay, Bahamas, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Castries, St. Lucia. According to him, tickets will go on sale in August.
Nude cruise rules
- When the ship is docked at a port, all passengers must be clothed throughout the ship, including balconies, until the ship leaves the port and an announcement is made that nudity is again allowed.
- The ship offers a self-service buffet on the Lido Deck, which is a no-clothes area. Clothing is required for all meals in the dining rooms. In all these places, casual clothing is suitable. Bathrobes are not allowed in the dining room.
- Underwear, fetish clothing and excessive genital jewelry are not acceptable at any time.
- Please sit on a towel whenever you are naked or wearing a thong. For this purpose, a fresh beach towel will be provided in your cabin daily.
- It is strictly forbidden to show yourself naked in front of other ships in port or while on board the ship to port authorities.
- It is forbidden to take photographs, videos or electronic images of any person without the express consent of that person. A "no photography" rule should be observed around swimming pools or on dance floors to avoid confiscation of photographic devices.
- Dangerous or rude behavior will not be tolerated. Fondling or inappropriate touching of personal or other people's body parts, overt sexual activity or any inducement to intimacy is strictly prohibited.
