Etihad Airways has started direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Prague and Warsaw, marking its entry into the Central European market. The first flight to Prague took off on June 2, with the inaugural Warsaw flight following the next day on June 3. Each route will operate four times a week as Etihad works to launch sixteen new destinations in 2025, all part of its effort to boost links between Europe and the Middle East.

These flights use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring modern seating and in-flight technology. Travelers from the Czech Republic and Poland will have more ways to easily connect through Abu Dhabi to places across Asia, Africa, and Australia. This expansion is part of Etihad’s broader plan to grow its European routes and make it easier for travelers to connect worldwide.

Prague invites visitors to explore a city steeped in culture and history. Prague has some truly memorable spots like the medieval Prague Castle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Charles Bridge with its famous Gothic statues and great views over the Vltava River, and the Old Town Square where the Astronomical Clock draws a lot of attention. These spots help you understand the city’s rich history and culture in a way that feels real.

Travelers will find plenty to explore in Warsaw, with something to suit many different interests. At Castle Square, the Royal Castle stands out as a beloved historic site, while just a short walk away, Łazienki Park welcomes visitors with its calm gardens and a lovely palace by the water. The Warsaw Uprising Museum presents a detailed account of the city’s experience during World War II. These places highlight the way Warsaw brings history and contemporary culture together.

Passengers flying from Central Europe will now find it easier to reach global destinations, thanks to new connections through Abu Dhabi. These new routes offer travelers quicker journey times and more options, whether they are traveling for work or vacation. This step should help deepen economic and cultural relationships between Central Europe and the Middle East, leading to more tourism and closer cooperation.
