Airports have become more than just transit points, offering a range of services and amenities. Some of them even have full-fledged hairdressing salons, so women can freshen up their hair.

A selection of airports that can boast of such a service was published by Simple Flying. If you're there, be sure to check out the places where you can get your hair done before your flight.

Changi Airport - Singapore

It is known for its world-class facilities. There is a Cuttour Hair Studio at the airport, which is located in the Jewel shopping complex, which connects to the airport. With experienced stylists and a relaxing atmosphere, passengers can not only enjoy a professional haircut or styling session while parked at Changi Airport, but also choose from a range of nail services. Cuttour Hair Studio is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.

Narita International Airport - Japan

Located in Terminal 1 of Tokyo's Narita Airport, Hair Salon Kings offers haircuts, perms and colouring at affordable prices. The stylists working there are known for their efficiency and ensure that you don't miss your flight while getting your hair styled.

London Heathrow Airport - United Kingdom

This is one of the busiest airports in the world. The airport is home to the Bradley Smith Hair Express Bar, the UK's first airport hair salon, founded by the famous hairdresser and stylist. You can find Bradley Smith Hair Express Bar in Terminal 5.

Dubai International Airport - United Arab Emirates

In Terminal 3, you'll find Timeless Spa, a haven of tranquillity sheltered from the hustle and bustle of one of the world's busiest airports. Although you can't exactly get a haircut here, the spa offers hairstyling as well as a wide range of rejuvenating treatments such as massages, facials and manicures.
