Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) has announced that essential track upgrades will take place on May 3, 4, 8 and 16, affecting service between Viterbo and La Storta, Ciampino and Zagarolo, and Roma Ostiense. As a result, various regional lines and an Intercity train between Salerno and Turin will undergo temporary schedule modifications.

The infrastructure work, which forms part of a broader improvement strategy, is valued at approximately 80,000 euros and involves around 30 specialists. The operations rely heavily on particular climatic factors and could be postponed if the temperature conditions are unfavorable for carrying out the activities. These upgrades, intended to modernize rail infrastructure around Rome, are expected to continue into July with future phases covering additional sections of the regional network.
