A new study by Post Office Travel Money has shown that some popular winter sun destinations are now cheaper than they were a year ago.
For example, Hoi An, a charming old town on the coast of Vietnam, is the cheapest destination this year. A cup of coffee there will cost vacationers only 1.36 pounds sterling, Express reports.
A can of Coca-Cola costs an average of only 98 pence, while a three-course meal for two adults with wine costs only £34.03. Falling local prices and the value of the Vietnamese dong have led to a 20 percent drop in spending since August last year.
The second place was taken by Mombasa, a coastal resort in Kenya. Cape Town rounded out the top three.
