The space cable car in Singapore: tourists are excited about the design
The world-famous Singapore Cable Car has prepared an incredible surprise for its users in honor of its 50th anniversary. It is introducing SkyOrb cabins, which are exclusive to the Singapore Cable Car and have a unique futuristic design.
These are the world's first chrome-plated spherical cable car cabins. Starting March 20, 2024, seven new SkyOrb cabins will join the existing cable car fleet and begin transporting guests between Faber Peak and Sentosa, as reported by TripZilla.
SkyOrb cabins are the first of their kind in the world. They are created exclusively for the Singapore cable car and have a futuristic look that breaks the boundaries of traditional cable car aesthetics.
The new exclusive cabins feature a glass floor that will allow guests to enjoy stunning views of the landscape beneath their feet. Guests can look forward to a bird's eye view of Singapore and key landmarks.
And when night falls, the cabin windows are beautifully illuminated with light rings, creating an ultra-romantic atmosphere. Each SkyOrb cabin is also equipped with double window blinds in the front and triple window blinds in the back, providing improved ventilation for guests.
It is emphasized that tickets for the SkyOrb Cabins are now available for sale at the ticket offices of the Singapore Cable Car Mount Faber and Sentosa Station.
In addition, Mount Faber line and Sky Pass holders can upgrade their one-way round trip tickets to a SkyOrb Cabin. This service will cost S$15 per person on weekdays and S$20 per person on weekends and holidays.
