Princess Cruises Expands 2025-26 Japan and Southeast Asia Cruise Season
Princess Cruises has announced the expansion of its 2025-26 cruise season in Japan and Southeast Asia. The company plans to increase the number of itineraries in Japan in response to the growing number of tourists from the United States.
In the 2025-26 season, Diamond Princess will offer an expanded cruise program in Japan, including visits to regions with autumn foliage, Mount Fuji, and Kyoto. The new season includes 11 itineraries ranging from nine to 22 days, visiting 25 destinations in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
Key routes include: a 13-day "Japan Fall Foliage" cruise during the autumn season; a 9-day Japan cruise with stops in Nagasaki, Akita, and Sakaiminato; 9-day cruises to Japan's southern islands, including Okinawa and Ishigaki; a 10-day Kyushu and Korea cruise with visits to Hiroshima, Osaka, and Shizuoka.
For those seeking longer journeys, combined itineraries of up to 40 days are available. After the Japan season, Diamond Princess will sail to Singapore on a 12-day cruise through Southeast Asia and Japan, including stops in Taipei and Hong Kong.
Southeast Asia itineraries include: a 14-day cruise through Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam with visits to Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, and Ho Chi Minh City; a 16-day cruise with visits to Halong Bay and Hanoi; a 14-day cruise from Singapore to Tokyo with overnight stops in Hong Kong and Shizuoka.
Built in Japan, Diamond Princess offers guests authentic Japanese experiences, including cuisine at Kai Sushi, Japanese cocktails, and traditional Izumi baths. The ship also features the new Churrascaria Brazilian Grill, serving South American cuisine.
