Loganair Makes Temporary Offer for More Flexible Tickets and Baggage Allowance

From July 2 to 9, 2025, passengers booking eligible flights with Loganair will receive a free upgrade to the airline’s enhanced Fly Flex fare. Starting August 1, this offer coincides with a major milestone for Loganair, which has transported close to 7.5 million passengers since =rebranding in 2017. The promotion is available on routes operated directly by the carrier and does not require additional action from travelers to activate.
The Fly Flex upgrade includes several added benefits for travelers at no extra cost:
- Checked baggage allowance increased from 15 kg to 23 kg
- One 6 kg cabin bag and a personal item included
- Free standard seat selection
- Same-day flight changes permitted without change fees (fare difference may apply)
- Increased Avios points earned per flight: 650 instead of the usual 410
By giving our customers a free upgrade, we’re not only providing additional benefits but also delivering over seven and a half tonnes of free luggage allowances across our network.
These changes provide more flexibility and convenience during the busy summer period. The ability to change flights on the same day without penalty can be particularly helpful when dealing with weather disruptions, personal emergencies, or shifts in scheduling. The additional baggage allowance may also ease the burden for those taking extended trips, carrying sports gear, or traveling with children, when luggage needs tend to be higher than usual.
The offer is especially relevant for travelers using regional connections to or from more remote parts of the UK. Loganair operates routes to the Highlands, Islands, and smaller cities, providing vital connections where other travel options may be few. These upgrades could make the routes more attractive for those who value comfort and operational ease when dealing with intricate travel plans or transfers at key hubs.
While the promotion is available for only a week, it reflects a broader pattern among regional airlines to offer more adaptable fare options without increasing base prices. For passengers planning trips from August onward, this initiative may offer both practical advantages and cost savings. As summer travel remains busy and operational issues persist, new perks like increased baggage allowance, loyalty rewards, and more flexible options provide real value to passengers.
