The search for the Belgian tourist, 31-year-old Celine Kramer, continues. The woman was last seen in a remote area of Tasmania (Australia).

According to experts, it is unlikely that the woman will be found alive in the winter season. She disappeared during a walk to Philosopher's Falls, The Guardian reports.

According to the police, the woman was last seen on 17 June, and her phone sent a signal almost a week ago.

The search for the woman continues. It is known that the woman's car, an SUV, was found. It was in a car park for hiking trails in the northwest of the state. It was around the Philosopher Falls Trail.

Kramer was last seen in Varata, near Cradle Mountain.

According to police, it appears that the woman was an inexperienced hiker who was only up for a light trip.

"At this stage, it looks like she just got lost. There is nothing to indicate that anyone else is currently involved," the department said.

The tourist was due to travel to Victoria by ferry on 21 June.

During the drone search operation, the weather was bad in this town. The situation was complicated by the dense bushes that are common in this sector.

The woman's sister appealed to everyone on social media and posted a photo.

The local police temporarily closed the trail to hikers.
