ITA Airways to Showcase at Business Travel Show Europe in London
ITA Airways will participate in the Business Travel Show Europe on June 19th and 20th at the ExCeL exhibition center in London. This major fair-trade show is dedicated to business travel and will feature ITA Airways at the Airline Pavilion, stand AP6.
At the event, the ITA Airways sales team will welcome trade and corporate customers, travel agencies, and key business travel players. The show provides a platform to discuss industry trends, explore technological innovations, and develop tailored travel programs.
The United Kingdom is a strategic market for ITA Airways. For the current summer season, the airline launched a new nonstop route between London City Airport (LCY) and Rome–Fiumicino Airport (FCO), operated by Airbus A220-100 aircraft with 12 weekly frequencies. This route enhances connectivity between the two capitals, with convenient access to ITA Airways' extensive network via Rome Fiumicino.
Earlier this year, ITA Airways increased its daily flights on the London City-Milan Linate route from three to five, also operated by Airbus A220-100. This brings the total weekly frequencies between Italy and London City to 43 during the peak summer season. Additionally, ITA Airways launched a new connection to Gatwick Airport from Rome Fiumicino, offering 7 weekly frequencies, increasing the total weekly flights between the UK and Italy to 100.
Celebrating its 2 million members enrolled in Volare, ITA Airways' loyalty program, is a key theme of its attendance. Volare, launched in March 2022, has more than 30 commercial partners and 10 airline partners for both accrual and redemption.
In 2024, ITA Airways is investing heavily, flying to 57 destinations during the summer season. New nonstop flights from Rome Fiumicino to key markets in North America, Africa, and the Middle East are being introduced, including routes to Chicago, Toronto, Riyadh, and Accra, with upcoming flights to Dakar and Jeddah. These additions complement ITA Airways' existing portfolio, enhancing global connectivity.
