Four Seasons Hotel Houston Presents the 5th Annual Charity Event "Celebrity Chefs Against Cancer
A scheduled event is approaching in Houston as the Four Seasons Hotel Houston will host the 5th annual charity event "Celebrity Chefs Against Cancer." Set for Wednesday, April 24, 2024, this event promises an evening reminding people of the importance of addressing the issue.
Located in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel, "Celebrity Chefs Against Cancer" will feature 21 of Houston's top chefs from renowned restaurants. Guests can expect a variety of gastronomic dishes as chefs present their signature creations at live stations in front of guests.
Alongside culinary preparations, various beverages will be available, including wines from the Wagner Family, Maestro Dobel Tequila, Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey, and signature cocktails from Bayou & Bottle. To create an atmosphere of entertainment, DJ Daniel Buckman from BELLOSOUND will provide live music, while news anchor Ruben Dominguez will once again serve as the event's host.
This year's event aims to surpass previous fundraising records through an extensive silent auction featuring stays at Four Seasons hotels nationwide, luxury items, and gift certificates to participating restaurants. Exclusive live auction items include a VIP weekend at the Austin Formula 1 and a live painting by Taft McWhorter.
All proceeds from the evening will support Camp H-Town, a summer camp held at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston in collaboration with the University of Texas MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital.
Camp H-Town offers children affected by cancer an unforgettable summer camp experience with the theme "Around the World." Hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston, the camp provides a safe and enjoyable environment for children, free of charge for their families. Activities include Movie Nights, Pool Parties, House of Blues-themed Dance Nights, and more, inspired by beloved children's films and characters.
Additionally, there are sponsorship opportunities available, offering reserved seating and other VIP benefits. General Manager Tom Segesta expresses excitement about uniting Houston's community and top chefs to support these courageous children.
