The Concorde supersonic passenger jet, which entered commercial service in 1976 but was decommissioned in 2003, has opened its doors to many celebrities. It is not surprising, as stars and important political figures often needed to move quickly around the world.

Some of them regularly preferred high-speed airplanes. Simple Flying recalled 5 famous people who used Concorde services.

Paul McCartney

The iconic singer often flew at supersonic speeds with other members of The Beatles. According to some sources, he encouraged passengers to sing with him and played the guitar on board.
