Based on a survey of 3000 people, the travel website Honeymoon Always has compiled a list of affordable cities for a romantic vacation. CBS Detroit writes about three cities in Michigan that are worthy of lovers' attention.
The city of Petoskey, located in the middle of the state, is ranked 54th in the rating. It is considered a small coastal resort with affordable prices, picturesque nature, and cozy hotels.
The city of Munising took 89th place in the ranking. This is a place where the main employment sectors are art, entertainment and recreation, so the city's residents live in a creative and friendly atmosphere. Couples seeking privacy will love it here.
Marquette rounds out the top three, ranked 133rd. It is located on the Upper Peninsula and attracts tourists with its nature.
