Latin American airline Avianca has partnered with Chef Alvaro Clavijo of El Chato restaurant to introduce new gourmet meals for business class passengers. The world-renowned chef's culinary creations will be available on flights from Bogota's El Dorado International Airport (BOG) to Europe.

Business class passengers will also have the opportunity to receive a set of accessories designed by the Colombian company Mola Sasa, featuring products from the local brand Loto del Sur. This information was reported by Simply Flying.

In 2023, El Chato restaurant was included in the "50 Best Restaurants in the World" ranking. The opportunity to savor Alvaro Clavijo's dishes is an exclusive and prestigious experience that has been available exclusively to Avianca passengers since December 15 of this year.

The airline stated, "Just like in his restaurant, Álvaro Clavijo will present offerings based on local ingredients and prepared in such a way that they can be enjoyed at 36,000 feet."
