The happiest countries in the world have been named: who ended up at the bottom of the ranking with the worst results
The level of happiness in a country can tell us a lot about the well-being of the people who live there, as well as their hardships. Being at the top of the ranking is as joyful as it is distressing to see your country at the bottom of the list.
On the International Day of Happiness, the Daily Mail, citing the United Nations, published a new annual report of the world's happiest countries. Afghanistan was the first country on the list.
Its happiness score was only 1.7 points. Obviously, this is due to the ongoing war in the country.
The previous 142nd place was taken by Lebanon with 2.7 points, which suffered from aggression.
However, it is worth noting that not all countries suffering from hostilities can be found at the bottom of the ranking. For example, Ukraine, which has been terrorized by Russia for two years, is at 105th place.
The ranking of the most unhappy countries in the world is as follows:
1. Afghanistan
2. Lebanon
3. Lesotho
4. Sierra Leone
5. Congo
6. Zimbabwe
7. Botswana
8. Malawi
9. Eswatini
10. Zambia
As previously reported by TravelWise, a recent study, the World State of Mind Report, found that the happiest country on Earth is the Dominican Republic.
