Radisson Hotel Group Expands Presence in Q1 2024, Focuses on APAC and Emerging Market
Radisson Hotel Group took center stage at this year’s International Hospitality Investment Forum, unveiling its latest expansion initiatives and growth strategy across its diverse portfolio of 10 renowned brands. With a current presence in over 95 countries, boasting more than 1,340 properties worldwide, including the esteemed Radisson Blu and the rapidly growing Radisson, the Group continues to solidify its position in the global hospitality market.
In the wake of a stellar performance in 2023, Radisson Hotel Group has further amplified its footprint in Q1 2024, strategically adding to its portfolio across EMEA and APAC regions. Noteworthy additions include key signings and openings in the United Kingdom, India, and China, as well as forays into emerging markets like Montenegro, Indonesia, and Laos.
The Group's stronghold in EMEA remains robust, with Radisson Blu spearheading growth as the leading upper upscale brand in Europe. Notable developments include new Radisson Blu properties in Italy and Montenegro, alongside expansions in the Radisson Individuals portfolio with signings in the United Kingdom and France, such as The View Hotel Folkstone and La Villa d’Italie Menton.
Building on its strategic partnership with PPHE Hotel Group, Radisson Hotel Group continues to unveil innovative properties, including the Radisson Collection Hotel in Rome and Radisson RED Belgrade, setting the stage for further expansion in H1 2024 with upcoming openings in Rome and London.
The Group's focus on APAC remains unwavering, with over half of Q1 2024 signings and openings concentrated in markets like India, China, and Cambodia. Radisson RED Auckland marks the Group's entry into the New Zealand market, while expansions in Cambodia and India further solidify its presence in the region.
