Italy and Turkmenistan signed two transport agreements
Italy and Turkmenistan have agreed to cooperate in the fields of rail transport, port and maritime communications in agreements signed at talks between Transport and Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini and Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Rashid Meredov.

The agreements, concerning the Central Tyrrhenian Seaport Authority and the Italian Rail Network RFI, promote cooperation between ports and maritime traffic between Italy and Turkmenistan, as well as the management of rail transport systems and intermodal hubs
