EasyJet Airlines announced plans to expand its travel destinations
The British airline easyJet is expanding its flight network and adding new routes. Thus, the company plans to add new commercial flights to two coastal cities in Italy and attract new flights from 4 European destinations.
It is reported that the company intends to become the first and only British airline to operate commercial flights from the Amalfi Coast of Salerno. This was reported by Phonemantra.
It is noted that new flights to Amalfi Coast Airport in Salerno are scheduled for July 13, 2024. Flights will be operated twice a week from London Gatwick Airport. It is reported that this route will become the 157th destination in the wide easyJet network.
In addition, easyJet intends to expand the geography of flights by opening flights from Milan, Berlin, Basel and Geneva. Also, from September 5, 2024, the company will resume flights on the Newcastle-Amsterdam route, which has not been operating for more than a year. Flights will be operated every Thursday and Sunday.
