EasyJet has assured passengers that the airline is doing its utmost to minimize the impact and will proactively contact affected customers.
Meanwhile, in Greece, air traffic controllers have planned a comprehensive 24-hour strike on the same day, further complicating travel across the continent. The strike organized by ADEDY, Federation of public service workers in Greece, reflects the wish for bonus holiday pay reimbursement, accommodation solutions and real wage increments. Greek Air Traffic Controllers allege staffing shortages and antiquated equipment has been the cause for a never-ending parade of delays-that's why they did this.
