Ryanair has unveiled its Summer 2026 schedule for Poznań–Ławica Airport, listing 39 routes, including three new additions: Podgorica, Shannon and Tirana. The airline will base five aircraft at the airport during the season. The expansion represents an investment of around USD 500 million and signals a continued strengthening of Ryanair’s presence in the Wielkopolska region.

The Poznań base is expected to handle more than 2.1 million passengers annually. Among the five aircraft stationed at the airport will be two Boeing 737-8200 "Gamechanger" models. These aircraft are designed to produce up to 40% less noise and burn up to 16% less fuel, while carrying slightly more passengers than earlier variants used in the fleet.

“We are delighted to unveil our Summer 2026 schedule from Poznań, featuring three fantastic new routes – Podgorica, Shannon and Tirana. This coming season, we will base five aircraft in Poznań, including two Boeing 737‑8200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft, which offer more seats, lower fuel consumption and – crucially for Poznań – up to 40% less noise emissions. This investment and the expansion of our presence in Poznań demonstrate just how important the Wielkopolska region is for us. We hope that the new destinations and increased flight availability will encourage passengers to book their summer getaways."
Michał Kaczmarzyk, Buzz CEO (Ryanair Group)

Summer 2026 schedule at a glance

  • 39 routes in total
  • 3 new destinations: Podgorica, Shannon, Tirana
  • 5 based aircraft (including two 737-8200)
  • Approx. USD 500 million invested
  • Over 2.1 million passengers annually

To mark the start of the season, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares beginning at PLN 126, available until 19 February via its app and website.

The addition of Podgorica and Tirana introduces direct links to Montenegro and Albania, both growing in popularity for coastal holidays along the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Shannon opens access to Ireland’s west coast, including the Wild Atlantic Way and cities such as Limerick and Galway. Combined with existing services to southern Europe, the expanded network broadens summer choices departing from western Poland.

The scale of the base suggests Poznań is no longer a secondary outstation but a core part of Ryanair’s Polish network. More routes and extra seats make planning a summer break or a quick trip abroad simpler. With five aircraft based in Poznań, travellers in the region gain more direct departures and fewer reasons to travel to bigger airports for connections.
