Seats are already on sale through easyJet’s website and mobile app, with package holidays available on selected routes through easyJet holidays.
Kittilä is one of the main gateways for Levi and Ylläs, two of Lapland’s best-known winter resorts for skiing, cabins and northern lights trips. Rovaniemi gives easier access to Santa Claus Village, Arctic Circle experiences, husky farms and snowy forest tours. With Liverpool and Newcastle now included, more people outside London get a cleaner route into Finnish Lapland.
The timing puts the new services at the start of Lapland’s winter travel season, when demand rises for Santa trips, ski resorts and northern lights breaks. More regional UK departures also make the journey easier for people who would otherwise need to travel through London, Manchester or another larger airport before reaching Finland.
