Fred Olsen Cruise Line is charting a new course with the announcement of two ambitious grand voyages planned for 2026. These voyages will give passengers the opportunity to explore some of the most remote and famous places around the world.

Designed specifically for their smaller ships, the 62,735-ton Bolette and 61,849-ton Borealis, these voyages aim to deliver intimate and unique experiences on a 95-day global adventure and a 76-day journey around South America and Antarctica, reports Cruisehive.com.

Bolette's 95-day global odyssey

The journey will begin with Bolette's 95-day voyage "Discovering the World's Idyllic Islands and Iconic Cities."

Departing in January 2026 with a capacity of 1,338 passengers, the grand tour offers a comprehensive journey across different continents. Highlights include Bora Bora, the Cook Islands, Bali, and Komodo Island.

Additionally, passengers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the bustling life of cities such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Auckland, and Sydney, with a special opportunity to explore the Great Barrier Reef.

The journey will commence in Liverpool, UK, on January 5, 2026, continue to Southampton, UK, and then embark on a global itinerary on January 7. The first leg of the journey will include stops in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, and the Caribbean with stops in St. John's, Antigua; Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis; and Oranjestad, Aruba.

The cruise will then visit Colon, Panama, and sail through the Panama Canal before visiting Huatulco, Manzanillo, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Borealis 76-day South America exploration

In contrast to this cruise, the second journey is the 76-day South America and Antarctica Exploration cruise aboard the Borealis, which can accommodate 1353 passengers.

The purpose of the adventure is to explore the diverse ecosystems of the continent, from the bustling streets of Rio de Janeiro to the serene beauty of the Falkland Islands and the rugged wilderness of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Departing from Southampton on January 28, 2026, Borealis will visit La Coruña and Las Palmas, Spain, and Praia, Cape Verde, before crossing the Atlantic.
