British Airways steward dies at Heathrow Airport before takeoff. Details

A 52-year-old man, who was a steward for British Airways (BA), died a few minutes before departure from London's Heathrow Airport. He lost consciousness and fell during the flight to Hong Kong on the evening of December 30.

The flight was supposed to last 15 hours, but before the plane started moving, the crew member fell dead. According to Metro, one of the passengers tried to give him first aid, but unfortunately, the steward could not be saved.

The pilot reported the situation to the dispatcher, and police and rescue workers went to the plane, who could do nothing but pronounce the death.

Details of the tragic incident have not been disclosed. An insider told The Sun that the steward was healthy, so his death came as a shock to the entire team.

"This has been a traumatic holiday period for the BA flight team. Everyone is deeply saddened," the commentary reads.

The passengers were informed that the flight would have to be cancelled due to the incident. However, the next morning, they flew to Hong Kong on another plane with a different crew.
