Work-life balance: which countries offer the best living conditions
The key to a normal human existence and to maintaining one's physical and emotional well-being is a balance between work and personal life. It is in search of such a balance that people are forced to look for other countries to live in.
According to the Global Work-Life Balance Index for 2023, it was determined which countries in the world meet the above points and are a model for others. What exactly makes these areas so successful, UNIAN told.
Thus, the first place was taken by New Zealand, an island nation with a strong economy. This country guarantees annual leave of up to 32 days, 80% sick pay, a high minimum wage, and a high-quality publicly funded healthcare system.
Spain, which is known for its siesta, annual vacation of up to 36 days, and healthy economy, took second place. Third place went to France, which has one of the highest GDPs in the world.
