Weeks of fireworks in Dubai: celebrating Ramadan in a colorful way
An extensive fireworks program is planned in the UAE during the Holy Month of Ramadan. For example, Dubai has already announced a program of fireworks that will be launched throughout the city.
Every weekend, from March 15 to April 7, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy colorful shows in different locations of the emirate. Grandiose performances will illuminate the sky over the coastline and marina every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Time Out Dubai reports.
It is emphasized that the festive pyrotechnics will be visible from all over JBR, Bluewaters, and some parts of Dubai Harbor and Palm Jumeirah. Thus, everyone has a variety of opportunities to dine against the backdrop of colorful fireworks.
In particular, from Friday, March 22, to Sunday, March 24, fireworks will be launched in the Al Seef area on the shores of Dubai Creek.
To be able to see the fireworks from Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 7, you need to go to the Dubai Festival City Mall.
All fireworks in honor of Ramadan will reportedly start at 22:00. You can watch them for free.
What is the Ramadan holiday?
In 2024, the holy month of Ramadan will fall in winter for the first time in 24 years. As you know, in the United Arab Emirates, winter begins on December 21 and ends on March 20 (spring begins on March 21).
However, in the UAE, non-Muslims – residents and tourists – are not required to fast, but they are prohibited from drinking, smoking, and eating in public during fasting hours. In addition, it is forbidden to chew gum, behave aggressively, swear, dance, and play music in public (it is allowed to listen to music in headphones).
Earlier, it became known about the kidnapping of falcons in Europe. According to TravelWise, such birds can end up in Arab countries.
