Unexpected surprise: Cat Urban gave an impromptu concert at Nashville Airport
Last weekend, travelers passing through Nashville International Airport (BNA) received an unforgettable surprise. Country music star Keith Urban gave an impromptu concert on a small stage.
The artist, who came to Music City to celebrate the release of his new single, unexpectedly appeared on the BNA Live platform, located near the food court in Hall C. Videos of the performance surfaced on social media.
Urban's performance, which included his 2011 hit "Long Hot Summer," attracted a crowd of travelers who were delighted to sing along.
The BNA Live program typically organizes performances by new and lesser-known artists, so Urban's appearance surprised many. The airport did not announce his performance, making the show a genuine surprise for passengers.
"From baggage claim to a real stage! It was a lot of fun celebrating the release of 'Messed Up As Me' with so many of you in Concourse C yesterday, and a huge thank you to everyone who came out to see us," Urban wrote.
