Turkish Technic and Silk Way West Airlines Forge Strategic Boeing 777F Support Partnership
In a significant move within the aviation industry, Turkish Technic, a prominent Istanbul-based maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider, has recently entered into a component pool agreement with Silk Way West Airlines. This collaboration marks a pivotal step for Silk Way West Airlines, known for operating one of the youngest fleets of Boeing 777F aircraft, as it continues to expand its operations with ongoing orders.
Under this newly forged agreement, Silk Way West Airlines is set to benefit from an enhanced level of support, gaining access to a comprehensive pool of spare parts alongside specialized MRO services for their Boeing 777F fleet. This partnership is especially strategic given Turkish Technic's reputation for quick and efficient service delivery within its global supply chain network. This includes Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support, ensuring time-critical components are readily available, thereby minimizing operational downtime for Silk Way West Airlines.
Mikail Akbulut, CEO of Turkish Technic, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the company's extensive experience in component maintenance and its vast inventory tailored for Boeing 777 component pooling. "We are excited to embark on this journey with Silk Way West Airlines, aiming to ensure the utmost safety and reliability for their fleet," said Akbulut.
Echoing this sentiment, Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines, underscored the importance of this partnership. "Aligning with Turkish Technic not only strengthens our operational capabilities but also reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional air cargo transportation services globally," Meier stated. This alliance reflects a shared dedication to excellence and reliability, pivotal values in today’s competitive air cargo sector.
