Tourist names two British beaches that outshine the best in the world
Although exotic beaches with white sand and turquoise water far across the ocean lure millions of British travelers, two domestic beaches should not be overlooked, which, according to an experienced tourist, are superior to the top resorts.
Recently, TripAdvisor recognized Grace Bay on the Turks and Caicos Islands and Varadero in Cuba as one of the 10 best beaches in the world. The traveler visited them, but told The Scottish Sun that British resorts seemed no less attractive.
Grace Bay Beach, she says, is fabulously exotic, and Varadero in Cuba can be mesmerizing for its tranquility.
However, she believes that Crackington Haven in Cornwall and Palm Bay Beach in Margate offer something more special.
Crackington Haven is a cozy beach surrounded by two hills. It doesn't have the same crumbly and white sand as tropical countries, but it does have surfing opportunities, picturesque views, and a cozy pub by the water.
Palm Bay Beach is a very soulful place. Here you can meet families, avid swimmers and locals who are used to enjoying the salty air. Margate has a quiet atmosphere that cannot be found on the busy beaches of the most popular resorts.
Although British beaches do not boast a warm, tropical climate, they offer a unique atmosphere, hospitality and sense of comfort.
