The best beaches in the world in 2024 according to Tripadvisor: first place in Portugal
Tripadvisor, a reputable online travel service, has released its annual list of the Best Beaches in the World for 2024. This compilation of coastal resort areas can be reliably utilized when planning your next beach getaway.
The ranking is based on user ratings and comments gathered from October 2022 to September 2023. The complete list is accessible on the website.
"Praia da Falezia beach in the Portuguese province of Algarve claimed the top spot. In previous years, the title of "best beach" was held by Bahia do Sancho in Brazil, but now the honor has shifted to a new frontrunner.
Praia da Falezia enchants with its red cliffs, delights with its soft sand, and beckons tourists with its clear waters. This beach is perfect for leisurely sunbathing, evening strolls, swimming, and other activities.
Spiaggia dei Conigli beach on the island of Isola dei Conigli in Italy takes second place. The shallow water of this location makes it ideal for family vacations and swimming lessons, while high cliffs protect vacationers from the high waves of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Spanish beach of La Concha rounded out the top three. Tripadvisor described it as "an iconic place right in the city with a huge sandy beach and clear blue water."
The remaining places from 4 to 10 were divided as follows:

- Grace Bay Beach (Turks and Caicos Islands)
- Anse Lazio (Seychelles)
- Manly Beach (Australia)
- Eagle Beach (Aruba)

- Varadero Beach (Cuba)
