The UK warns its citizens against flying with certain airlines
Despite the positive reputation of air travel as one of the safest ways to travel long distances, there are some regions and companies that raise security concerns. Based on certain factors, the UK government has published an air safety list, according to which some countries and airlines cannot fly to, from, or to the UK.
The list of companies that British passengers should not choose and countries that can not provide security conditions is reported by in inews.co.
The list includes 24 countries, with most restrictions applying to Africa and the Middle East. In particular, flights to and from the UK are prohibited for such airlines as Sudan Airways, Eritrean Airlines, Iran Air, and Iraqi Airways. The list also includes some European destinations, including carriers from the Russian Federation and Armenia.
It is noted that countries were included in this list for various reasons. In particular, Pakistan's state-owned air carrier has been questioning its management and safety standards for years, Nepal has dangerous places to fly, and there are many countries in Africa that do not have navigation systems.
