Tripadvisor's Best of the Best destinations span seven categories for 2024, including a new Sustainable Destinations category.
With 74% of travelers concerned about the impact of "over-tourism" on tourist destinations, Tripadvisor partnered with global brand AB InBev Corona to launch this new category, recognizing winners from around the world that are deemed to have strong commitments to sustainability.
Europe is the leader among environmentally responsible cities, with eight of the ten winning cities coming from there. Belfast was the only city in the UK to make the list, behind cities such as Copenhagen, Brussels and Galway.
