Southwest Airlines Elevates Music and Community at Luck Reunion
In a fusion of music and travel, Southwest Airlines has proudly reclaimed its role as the Official Airline of Luck Reunion, the esteemed music festival hosted on Willie Nelson's ranch in Luck, TX. This collaboration is part of Southwest's ongoing commitment to nurture emerging talent and connect with music enthusiasts through its On The Rise to Luck initiative. The festival, a beacon for American and roots music evolution, is set for March 14, promising a day of unforgettable performances and cultural celebration.
Southwest's partnership with Luck Reunion is a testament to their shared dedication to the music industry and support for Artists On The Rise. "Connecting with our Customers through their passions, such as music, is what makes this partnership with Luck Reunion so special," stated Brandy King, Southwest Airlines' Managing Director Communications. This initiative not only introduces audiences to new artists but also provides a significant platform for emerging talents to showcase their work.
The Southwest: On The Rise to Luck program is a highlight of this partnership, aiming to boost the careers of developing artists within the Luck community. From a pool of over 80 applicants, three finalists—Victoria Bigelow, Lou Hazel, and Jobi Riccio—have been chosen for the chance to perform at the festival. Fans are invited to participate by voting for their favorite artist on Southwest's music platform, with the winner set to be announced on March 6.
Additionally, Southwest is offering music fans the chance to experience Luck Reunion firsthand through a sweepstakes. The winner will receive a VIP experience, including air travel, festival tickets, accommodations, and a $250 Visa® gift card. This initiative not only enriches the festival experience but also strengthens Southwest's engagement with the music and travel communities.
The airline's involvement extends beyond the stage, with Southwest welcoming its community partner, Wearsos, to the festival. This collaboration will see the distribution of unique giveaways crafted from upcycled Southwest leather seat coverings, blending sustainability with creativity.
As Luck Reunion approaches, Southwest Airlines' dedication to music, community, and sustainability shines brightly. Through its support for emerging artists and engagement with festival-goers, Southwest continues to weave a tapestry of connections that extend far beyond the flight, fostering a community where music and travel intersect.
