Proven to be tough: iPhone fell from a height of 5 kilometers and remained almost unharmed
A video of the American Boeing 737 MAX 9, owned by Alaska Airlines, is being actively discussed online. During the flight, the plane's emergency exit door suddenly tore out. It has not been found yet. Instead, they found an iPhone, which probably belonged to one of the passengers.
This was reported by Newsweek with reference to user "X".
The fallen phone was found on the side of the road. The fact that it fell from a height of 5 kilometers was particularly surprising, as it was almost unharmed and remained in working order.
The iPhone of an unknown model was unlocked and was in the "on the plane" mode. The phone also contained an electronic receipt with baggage claim information for the same flight.
How did it happen that the device fell and was not significantly damaged? Apparently, it fell into the bushes and this softened the fall. Either way, this proves that the iPhone is a "tough nut to crack" and can survive a fall from a height on a relatively soft surface.
