SunExpress has confirmed the launch of daily overnight flights between Manchester and Dalaman starting on 19 May 2026, adding a new timing option to its UK–Türkiye network. Departures are scheduled for 00:45, with arrivals in Dalaman at 07:00 local time. The route introduces a night operation designed around early-morning arrivals rather than traditional daytime schedules.

Return flights are timed late in the evening, leaving Dalaman at 21:05 and landing back in Manchester at 23:45. This setup allows stays to run almost full days at both ends of the trip. The service will operate every day through the summer season, using SunExpress aircraft as part of its wider leisure-focused programme.

“We know how precious holiday time really is, and these new night flights are all about helping our customers enjoy every moment of it. Touching down in Dalaman as the sun rises means the holiday begins instantly, whether that’s a first swim in the sea, a relaxed breakfast by the coast with the relief knowing you haven’t lost a day to travel. We’re incredibly proud to be expanding our Manchester programme and strengthen our offering to Türkiye, giving travellers even more freedom and choice of destinations alongside Antalya, Izmir and Milas-Bodrum."
Tobias Bracht, Head of Sales at SunExpress

The overnight Dalaman flights sit alongside an expanded summer 2026 schedule from Manchester to other Turkish destinations. SunExpress plans up to 24 weekly services to Antalya, 19 to Izmir, 15 to Dalaman and twice-weekly flights to Bodrum. Together, these routes form one of the airline’s largest seasonal offerings from a single UK airport.

Turkey services from Manchester, summer 2026

  • Antalya: up to 24 weekly flights
  • Izmir: up to 19 weekly flights
  • Dalaman: up to 15 weekly flights, including overnight services
  • Bodrum: two flights per week

Early-morning arrivals in Dalaman open quicker access to resorts and coastal areas across south-west Türkiye. Locations such as Ölüdeniz, Fethiye and Göcek become reachable on the same morning without waiting for afternoon check-ins, while inland areas and archaeological sites benefit from longer usable days. The spread of routes also supports beach holidays, outdoor sports, sailing trips and short cultural breaks.

The overnight flights respond to demand for schedules that leave more time on the ground rather than in transit. For Manchester, the move strengthens its role as a northern gateway to Türkiye with varied departure times across the day and night. For holidaymakers, it signals a shift towards travel patterns that fit around work and school calendars without squeezing trips into shorter stays.
