Lufthansa Launches Allegris Service on Long-Haul Routes
Lufthansa is set to enhance its long-haul travel offerings with the introduction of Allegris, a new premium travel class, commencing its scheduled services on May 1. The first flight equipped with the Allegris cabin will depart from Munich, Germany, heading to Vancouver, Canada.
The inaugural flight marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lufthansa, with the Airbus A350 serving as the carrier for this upgraded travel experience. Following Vancouver, Allegris will also cater to passengers flying to Toronto, Chicago, and Montreal, with more destinations planned as additional aircraft are outfitted with this new cabin.
Starting today, passengers can view the seat map for Allegris flights on all Lufthansa booking channels. This launch includes detailed visuals and information on the new seating options available, particularly in Business Class, which boasts five distinct seating configurations.
In an effort to promote this new service, Lufthansa is offering passengers already booked on the initial flights a complimentary upgrade to the new Allegris cabin. Moreover, for the first few months, Business Class seat reservations will be free of charge and can be conveniently managed through the existing booking platforms.
