In Moscow, a water truck rams into the fuselage of the world's most expensive airplane
A water truck rammed into an Emirates Airbus A380 at Domodedovo Airport. The incident occurred on March 27 with the plane that arrived in Moscow from Dubai and was being serviced before its return flight.
It is noted that the water truck was supposed to refuel the plane with drinking water, but due to poor health, the driver lost control and crashed into the plane. This was reported by Avianews.
It is reported that the car destroyed the fuselage of the largest passenger aircraft, which may take at least several weeks to repair. However, it is not clear how the repair will be carried out as the official supply of spare parts for Western aircraft to Russia is prohibited due to sanctions imposed on the country.
According to information from the Telegram channel Banksta, the AlfaStrakhovanie insurance company will have to pay for this incident. Currently, Emirates is calculating the losses for the repair and further stay of the aircraft at the airport.
