In Kyiv, a woman found a snake from Central Mexico under the hood of her car: video
In Kyiv, a woman found a snake under the hood of her car while inspecting it. Animal rescuers were called to remove the reptile.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Animal Rescue Group. How it got there is currently unknown.
According to the animal rescuers, they were approached by a resident of Kyiv who reported that she had found a live snake in the hood of her car.
"We don't know where the Campbell's milk snake (non-poisonous, subspecies of the milk snake family) came from and why it got into the car. Most likely, the milk snake got tired of the monotonous life in the aquarium and wanted adventure and extreme. The goal has been successfully achieved – all participants of this rescue had extreme adventures," the animal rescuers added.
The Campbell's milk snake is also known as the cross-banded king snake and the Puebla milk snake. It was named in honor of the American zoologist Jonathan Campbell. It lives in central Mexico: Puebla, Morelos, Oaxaca.
As reported by TravelWise, a live snake was caught on board a flight to Phuket, hiding above the heads of passengers.
