How to use Apple Vision Pro on an airplane: useful tips
Apple has very thoughtfully equipped Vision Pro with a special mode designed to ensure safe use of the headset while traveling.
Travel Mode for Apple Vision Pro is a setting that adapts the headset specifically for use during flights. In most cases, when you turn on Apple Vision Pro from an airplane seat, you will automatically be prompted to turn on Travel Mode. Otherwise, you can turn it on and off from the visionOS control center, Tom's Guide writes.
Things to keep in mind when using Apple Vision Pro on an airplane
There are a few important things to keep in mind when flying with Apple Vision Pro. First, you should not wear the headset during takeoff or landing. You should also take the headset off during turbulence and if you want to take a nap. It is also not recommended to keep the headset on if you get out of your seat during the entire flight.
Due to the limited lighting and space available in your seat, the headset's sensors cannot monitor your surroundings as well, so be careful around you. Especially in low-light conditions, when the headset can't track your hands either, you may want to keep your table clear and turn off Environments when you're in-flight service or eating.
It may take a few trips to learn how to fly safely and comfortably with Vision Pro, but if you use the travel mode and follow etiquette, you can learn to do so.
As TravelWise reported, Beond, the world's first premium travel airline, has announced its plan to offer the innovative Apple Vision Pro to select passengers.
