Hainan presented a new tourist activity - sightseeing buses

The tour bus now offers visitors two routes to explore the exquisite beauty and rich culture of the region. The round-trip tropical beach tour takes travelers from Haikou Bus Station to Wenchang Mulan Bay, passing through the Hainan Provincial Museum, Wenchang Puqian Historic Street and Mulan Bay Lighthouse, covering a total distance of 160 kilometers, with a six-hour tour duration.

On the other hand, the Coconut Forest Tour from Haikou Bus Station to Shanqing Bay in Wanning stretches 319.8 kilometers round trip and takes seven hours. This journey takes travelers through the China (Hainan) South China Sea Museum as well as the local Qunhai Street snack bar, offering a great combination of natural wonders and cultural experiences. To meet the diverse needs of tourists, the sightseeing bus offers different intervals, allowing travelers to choose an option that suits their preferences and schedule.

"While meeting the needs of visitors, the launch of the coastal sightseeing bus also creates a comfortable travel environment by achieving a balance and coordination between fast and slow movement, observation and experience, and general and personalized aspects. This seamless integration aims to offer a holistic and complete experience, ensuring that travelers can enjoy the journey while visiting a variety of attractions along the Hainan Coastal Scenic Highway," said a spokesperson for the Hainan Haiqi Transportation Group.

The 988-kilometer-long Hainan Coastal Scenic Highway was officially opened to traffic on December 18, 2023. This road runs through 12 coastal cities and counties, including Haikou, Wenchang, Sanya and Changjiang
