From Riga to Alicante: the Baltic States are expanding the geography of flights
The Baltic States are expanding the geography of international air travel. In particular, Latvian national airline airBaltic has announced the launch of direct flights between Riga and Alicante.
airBaltic operates a total of 13 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, and Tampere, including direct flights from its seasonal base in Gran Canaria to 10 airports in Northern Europe. This was reported by TravelandTour World magazine.
The new flight between Riga and Alicante is operated twice a week and has a convenient duration of 4 hours and 15 minutes. Ticket options range from 149 euros for the GREEN class to 359 euros for the Business Light class.
It is emphasized that Alicante, located on the picturesque Spanish Costa Blanca, attracts travelers with its vibrant atmosphere, stunning beaches, and rich historical heritage.
The city has many historical sites, from the majestic Santa Barbara Castle, which offers panoramic views, to the bustling old town, teeming with lively squares and diverse culinary experiences.
