Flynas Enhances Travel Options with New A320neo Aircraft and Increased Seat Capacity
In a strategic move to bolster its service offerings, Flynas, a leading low-cost carrier, has recently taken delivery of two new Airbus A320neo aircraft. This addition is part of a broader initiative to increase the airline's seat capacity by 25% during the month of Ramadan this year, accommodating over 1.2 million seats compared to the same period last year. The aim is to meet the surge in demand for flights during the holy month, enhancing the travel experience for its guests.
The new A320neo aircraft arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on March 7 and March 14, marking a significant expansion in the airline's fleet. Flynas is set to receive a total of six A320neo aircraft throughout 2024, indicating a strong commitment to modernizing its fleet with more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly planes.
This initiative comes at a time when Flynas aims to provide an unparalleled travel experience for Umrah performers and visitors to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during Ramadan. By increasing the seat capacity on its flights by 25% for the year 2024, Flynas is not only catering to the increased travel demand but also offering a more diversified and exceptional service to its guests.
The introduction of new aircraft and the expansion of seat capacity align with Flynas's strategic plan, titled "We Connect the World to the Kingdom." This plan is in harmony with the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP) and the National Civil Aviation Strategy, aiming to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques and connect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations. The ultimate goal is to accommodate 330 million passengers and host 100 million tourists annually by 2030.
This expansion reflects Flynas's dedication to enhancing the connectivity and accessibility of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering more choices and a better travel experience to passengers. It underscores the airline's role in supporting the Kingdom's vision to become a global tourism destination while adhering to its commitment to sustainability and modernization.
