Etihad Airways Elevates Global Travel with New Destinations and Enhanced Flight Schedule

In an exciting development for global travelers, Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled a significant expansion of its summer flight schedule. This strategic update not only introduces new destinations but also boosts the frequency of flights on existing routes, solidifying Abu Dhabi's role as a pivotal global travel hub and offering passengers more diverse travel options.

Starting from 15 June, the airline is set to launch operations to two highly anticipated destinations. Travelers can now explore the allure of Antalya, Turkey, with three seasonal weekly flights directly from Abu Dhabi. Following closely, on 16 June, Etihad will commence four weekly flights to Jaipur, India, enhancing its network and providing travelers with unique cultural and historical experiences.

Antalya, known for its breathtaking natural beauty and rich historical tapestry, promises an unforgettable getaway on the Turkish Riviera. On the other side, Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, invites visitors to immerse themselves in its tradition and modernity, boasting iconic landmarks like the Hawa Mahal and the City Palace.

But the expansion doesn't stop with these new routes. From 15 June, Etihad is set to increase its service frequency to several key destinations, including Thiruvananthapuram, Amman, Cairo, Karachi, and Colombo. This adjustment marks a significant 33% increase in the airline's total weekly flights compared to last summer, expanding from 635 to 847 weekly flights and broadening its reach from 65 to 75 destinations worldwide.

Particularly notable is the addition of Jaipur, which elevates Etihad's total number of Indian gateways to 11. This expansion not only reaffirms Etihad's commitment to the Indian market but also strengthens the cultural and economic ties between India and the UAE.

Passengers can look forward to an optimized travel experience with greater connectivity and a wider array of travel options. This includes experiencing the state-of-the-art amenities and customer-centric services at the newly inaugurated Terminal A at Zayed International Airport Abu Dhabi.
